Tummy Chronicles: Taste (Valentine’s Special)

"To taste is to live and to live means to taste everything."
I adore Taste, it’s one of my Favourites, even though I have only been once before, it left one of the greatest first impressions for me and I can’t complain I had good company and great food. You walk into a cosy little lounge with dim lights and a romantic air. Sharable plates that are full of flavour totally tapas style which I am such a big fan of because I fancy variety with small enough plates so I have room for everything. Gluttonous much!? I think yes.  But I would have to say that the Valentines menu was a disappointment, it started out so promising, we sat down and instantly had said we’d like the whole menu, they started by bringing out bacon on skewers covered in green to look like roses which was the most artistic I have ever seen bacon  been executed. Bacon is bacon, it was delicious. And everything else that came after that was definitely unappreciated. Neat concept, everything was presented beautifully, every dish had a variation of a heart, we just missed out on exceptional food.
